Attractions

 The villa is conveniently situated for all major attractions -it is  just 20 minutes from the gates of Walt Disney World. The new Legoland Florida theme park, opening in October 2011, is only 10 minutes south from the villa. The I4 (just 10 minutes north) is the gateway to many of the popular holiday destinations.

As well as the attractions, there are excellent shopping and dining facilities close by.

Legoland

The new Legoland theme park is opening in October 2011. Our villa,  just 13 miles from Legoland, is ideally situated for this exciting attraction.

Legoland is a 150-acre family theme park located in Winter Haven. The Park will offer interactive attractions, family rides, shows, restaurants, shopping and beautiful landscape specifically geared for families with children ages 2 to12.

 Disney       


Covering 43 sq miles, Walt Disney World Resort is the largest entertainment complex on earth. Its main draw is its theme parks :Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios. Walt Disney World also includes two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon), nearly 300 places to eat, a variety of nightclubs, a nature preserve, a shopping village and half a dozen golf courses.

Universal Studio   


Universal studios boasts two major theme parks, a village and entertainment complex. Together, Universal Studios Park, Islands of Adventure and Universal City Walk present a formidable alternative to Disney.

SeaWorld


There’s no place on Earth like SeaWorld® Orlando! Where else can you challenge thrill-a-second rides one minute and count the teeth on a shark the next? Feed the dolphins, watch the polar bears and penguins, take in an incredible performance, and just try to stay dry when the world famous Shamu® comes a-splashing! SeaWorld Orlando is one of the world’s most popular marine-life adventure parks and well worth a visit.

Discovery Cove


Next to Seaworld is Discovery Cove, a new all-inclusive park, where guests have the opportunity to swim with dolphins, rays and other fascinating sea animals. Even though it is expensive, this park is popular and it is advisable to book tickets in advance.

Kennedy Space Centre


Just 45 minutes from popular Orlando attractions and theme parks is NASA’s launch headquarters where you can tour launch areas, meet an Astronaut, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and even view a launch… The 131-sq mile facility offers guests a full-day, comprehensive space experience.

Boggy Creek Airboat Rides


Imagine gliding through the wetlands viewing Florida’s Native wildlife. Starting with a leisurely idle down our natural canal, looking for exotic birds, turtles and the Florida alligator.

Wonderworks


Central Florida’s only upside down building, Wonderworks is a funfilled interactive attraction featuring more than 100 hands-on experiences, demonstrations and activities for the entire family….

Gatorland


Gatorland is a 110-acre alligator theme park and wildlife preserve with an incredible display of huge alligators and crocodiles, children’s water park, train ride, aviary, breeding marsh and bird sanctuary, petting zoo, nature walk, gift shop, and shows such as the world famous Gator Jumparoo.

Wet’N Wild

Busch Gardens

Fantasy of Flight


Located halfway between Tampa and Orlando in Polk City, Florida, Fantasy of Flight is an aviation-themed attraction that takes visitors back to Early Flight, World War I (aviation’s Golden Era during the 1920’s-1930’s), World War II and beyond – including some of the very airplanes that made aviation history.

Green Meadows Farm


Green Meadows Petting Farm offers an ideal country setting that you and your family can enjoy. The whole family will have a chance to enjoy the quiet country setting with more than 300 farm animals to touch and see.

International Drive

Only a stone’s throw from Walt Disney World, and anchored by Universal Studios and Seaworld at either end, “I-Drive” is a 3 mile ribbon of restaurants, hotels, shops and theatres. In the daytime, when everyone is at the theme parks it is quiet, after dark, it becomes a lively neon strip with everything open late.
